Step 4: Submit Completed Application Package to DSR

When should I submit a completed application package to DSR?

It is recommended that completed applications be submitted to DSR at minimum 14 days in advance of a Grants.gov submission deadline.

How do I submit a completed application package to DSR?

Currently there are two ways you can submit a completed Grants.gov application package (PureEdge file) to DSR:

  1. As an email attachment to ufproposals@research.ufl.edu, or

  2. In a CD to 207 Grinter Hall (this is recommended for large files)

Note: DSR is in the process of creating a dedicated web site to receive all grants.gov applications. Once this web site is completed, there well be a general announcement to the University research community.

The Grants.gov/PureEdge file including any required attachments must be submitted to DSR electronically. There are two main reasons for this requirement:

  1. Grants.gov only accepts PureEdge application forms

  2. Only DSR can submit the application package to Grants.gov

The DSR-1/peoplesoft signatures, COI forms & other required forms and documents still need to be routed to DSR for review, approval and signature (if appropriate). Work with your college and department to determine the appropriate format and process for submitting the non-PureEdge forms and documents to DSR. DSR will accept either e-mail attachments, faxes or hardcopy originals.
