Grants.gov:
The University of Florida is registered with Grants.gov. Investigators do not register in Grants.gov.
NIH Commons Registration
For NIH applications PI's must be registered* and have an updated personal profile in NIH Commons. If the PI is not registered with Commons, the submitted Grants.gov application will not be accepted by the NIH. If the PI's personal profile in Commons does not match the PI information in the grant application, you risk warnings and/or errors by the NIH. Errors will block the processing of the application. Errors must be corrected and the application resubmitted to Grants.gov.
To initiate the Commons registration process visit the DSR Forms web page and complete the NIH Commons Registration Form.
* Note: NIH will send an e-mail to the PI with a link to activate the Commons account. Registration in Commons is completed only after Investigators activate the account.
